I am Kristiina Luuk aka KLUUK.  

I have been dealing with textile colors casually for many years, but now deal with them almost daily. Recently, I have set myself the goal of learning more about colors, materials, and techniques, then applying that knowledge to order to develop my creativity to the fullest.

 

I have created digital art and printed them on clothing. However, I feel more creative when using physical mediums to work on clothes. The combination of colored hands, the smell of pigments and fabrics, the feel of textures, unexpected surprises, plus unpredicted results, brings me a great sense of achievement. There are risks, but that is all part of the magic in the process.

I also like the practical value of dyeing fabric items so that they can be worn. Images and patterns on textiles are free to walk the streets, go to cafes, and live their lives. I think it's so interesting.

In the future, I also plan to learn more about the art of sewing, which provides even more ideas, thoughts, and opportunities for further creations.
